So after sending many letters to MP's, counselling bodies, along with grabbing the media's attention by appearing on Tattoo disasters, the government is still not listening as to why we need legislation put in place to stop the unregulated sale of this equipment online. Children as young as ten years old are buying this equipment and putting themselves at risk of infections like Hepatitis C and HIV.
I would like to point out that I am not against tattoos, but we need to recognise that it should be done safely.
I am currently working on a new campaign against the unregulated sale of this equipment, and I am hoping to take this into schools, to educate children on the dangers of tattooing each other. We are also connected to some Hepatitis C helplines, who have been willing to come on board with us, to provide education on the Hepatitis C infection. We fortunately also have a fantastic creative designer called Tim Marner working with us to design our brand.
We are appealing to all companies and the public for any help with donations of stationary products, promotional items eg. Badges, pens etc. We would also appreciate anyone who has media cintacts, to help with getting us out there.
